With this being the last weekend of January I’m in shock at how fast 2017 is already moving! Make sure you get outside and enjoy some of these fun community events.
My first stop Saturday will be the Knights of Columbus Basketball Free Throw Competition in Oakville at 124 Dorval Drive. Registration for this fun free throw starts at 9am. After that catch me at the Freelton Paper and Bottle Drive put on by the Scouts. From 9am until Noon drop off any old paper or bottles to 1432 Centre Road.
Then I’ll make my way to the 1st Annual Yogathon in Waterdown at 715 Centre Road. Until 5:30pm sign up for a class, check out the raffles or silent auction and get some shopping done with a portion of the proceeds supporting the Bruce Trail Conservancy. My Last stop of the day will be the Winterblooms exhibit at the Dundas Museum, where you can see a whole bunch of cool floral arrangements.
Sunday Morning will start off at the Fossil Display at the Dundas Valley Conservation Area, where you and the kids can learn about fossils until 3pm. After that I’ll be at the Daddy and Daughter Royal Princess Ball at 600 Barton Street for some royal fun!
For my last stop of the weekend I’ll be at Pier 8 in Hamilton for some skating and a Winsticker Drive- Thru.
You can stop by these events anytime but if you stop by while I’m there, you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!
And as always don’t forget to post your own non-profit or charity event on our Events Page. I could bring the KX 94.7 Events Cruiser right to you!
Let’s have some fun in KX Country!
