April Fools!

Posted by Melissa Gordon on 2017/04/01

Another busy weekend ahead with a ton of fun filled events for the whole family to enjoy!

My first stop Saturday will be the Wind Dancer Pony Rescue at 1165 Highway 8 in Sheffield. From 9am until 1pm you can hang out with all the ponies at the rescue. After that catch me at the Spring into Summer Burlington Vendor Show at the Polish Hall. From 10am until 3pm shop from some great vendors and don’t forget to bring some non-perishable food items for the local food bank.

Then it’s off to the Vendor Fundraiser Event in Hamilton at 353 Stone Church Road East. Until 3pm bring some non-perishable food items and donations for Neighbour 2 Neighbour and get some shopping done.  My Last stop of the day will be the Spring Home and Garden Show at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum. Until 7pm on Saturday and 5pm on Sunday get advice about products for your home and garden and watch some live demonstrations as well.

Sunday Morning will start off at the Tropical Greenhouse at gage Park in Hamilton, where you can spend the afternoon exploring fishponds, plants and more. Then it’s off to the Spring Sunday event at Westfield Heritage Village in Rockton for some tours and live demonstrations of the 35 historic buildings.

For my last stop of the weekend find me at the Coots Watershed Clean Up in Dundas on Hatt Street. From 1 until 5pm help clean up the creek and surrounding area. Bring some rubber boots and dress warmly!

You can stop by these events anytime but if you stop by while I’m there, you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!

And as always don’t forget to post your own non-profit or charity event on our Events Page.  I could bring the KX 94.7 Events Cruiser right to you!

Let’s have some fun in KX Country!
