I love my country music and I love my rock too.
This past weekend I got to indulge in a bit of both. Alan Jackson with Ryan Laird on Saturday then it was Nickelback on Sunday. The Nickelback show was a birthday present for my boys', Evan & Eric. Awesome time at both but that's not why I'm writing this blog.
At Sunday's event, I got quite a workout from where we were sitting. We were on an aisle so basically everyone in our row had to pass us to get out whether it was to go to the restroom or refresh their drinks. Honestly I may as well have stood for most of the show as the people in our row weren't there half the time, spent most of their time re-filling and you know what happens after drinking a fair amount?! Mother nature kicks in full force!
What boggled my mind was why do people spend so much money on a concert ticket if they're not even going to watch the show?!
It was quite comical at first and they were very apologetic each time they came by but after 10 squats it got a bit much.
No wonder my legs were sore the next day! :)
In case you haven't figured out the pic, that's Evan & Eric enjoying their backstage experience.
