BYE April!!

Posted by Melissa Gordon on 2018/04/27

Just like that we’re another month closer to Summer!! As we say goodbye to April this weekend and hello to May, I’m excited to check out some awesome community events with you!

My first stop Saturday will be the all you can eat pancake breakfast at the Erland Lee Museum in Stoney Creek. Stop by from 8am until noon to enjoy pancakes and a tour of the museum. After that I’ll be at the Spring Open House at 199 Glover Road also in Stoney Creek. From 10am until 2pm swing by to check out some vendors and raffles with proceeds supporting local programs.

Then it’s off to help Stuff the Bus over at Sobeys in Ancaster just off of Golf Links Road. From 9am until 4pm look for the big yellow school bus and drop off some non-perishable food items for the Neighbour 2 Neighbour Food Bank. For my last stop of the day I’ll be at the Craftadian Spring Market in Mississauga at the First United Church at 151 Lakeshore Road West. From 10am until 4pm swing by and get some shopping done.

Sunday Morning will start off at the Makeolgy Spring Market at 123 King Street West in Hamilton! From 11am until 5pm drop by to shop from over 30 different local vendors. After that I’ll be at the Westfield Heritage Museum in Rockton for their Spring Sundays! Explore the village and enjoy some fresh air with the whole family.

For my last stop of the weekend I will be at the Dundas Driving Park for a KX Winsticker Drive- Thru.

You can stop by these events anytime but if you stop by while I’m there, you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!

And as always don’t forget to post your own non-profit or charity event on our Events Page.  I could bring the KX 94.7 Events Cruiser right to you!

Let’s have some fun in KX Country!

~ Mel
