Easter 2018!!!

Posted by Melissa Gordon on 2018/03/29

I hope your weekend is full of good food, friends, family and of course chocolate! Between the Easter egg hunts and dinners, I’ll be stopping by lots of events if you’re looking for something to do.

My first stop for Good Friday will be Dyment’s Farm Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Stop by 416 Fallsview Road in Dundas at 10am for breakfast followed by the Easter Egg Hunt at 11am. Don’t forget to bring some non-perishable food items for the local food bank. After that you can find me at Gourley Parks 8th Annual Easter Eggstravaganza in Hamilton. From noon until 2pm bring the whole family by for games, crafts and a massive Easter egg hunt! You can also bring a few non-perishable food items for the local food bank.

For the last stop of my day I’ll be at the Ancaster Lions Craft and Gift Show at the Ancaster Fairgrounds. From 10am until 4pm stop by to shop from over 100 different vendors with a portion of the proceeds supporting the Lions Club.

Saturday will start off at the Hamilton Farmers’ Market at 35 York Street for the Easter Petting Zoo. From 10am until noon, stop by with the kids to visit some farm animals and after get some shopping done at the market. After that I’ll be over at the Stuff the Bus event at the Freshco Parking Lot in Hamilton at the corner of Upper Gage and Rymal Road. Grab some non-perishable food items and drop them off from 9am until 4pm for the Neighbour 2 Neighbour Food Bank.

Then it’s off to the Easter Bunny Hop and Seek along Concession Street in Hamilton. Have the kids hop along to different local stores for some Easter treats. To wrap up my day I’ll be hanging out at the Mountsberg Conservation Area in Campbellville for the Easter Egg Extravaganza! From 10am until 4pm stop by with friends and family for some Easter fun while enjoying the outdoors.

Sunday Morning I’ll be hanging out at Bayfront Park in Hamilton for a KX Winsticker Drive-Thru, so if you’re out and about stop by and sign up! After that I’ll pack up the cruiser and head on over to Westfield Heritage Village for their Spring Sundays! From noon until 4pm swing by and explore over 35 different historical buildings.

For the last stop of my long weekend, find me at the Christie Lake Conservation Area in Dundas just off of Highway 5 to enjoy some hiking!

Don’t forget that you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!

And as always don’t forget to post your own non-profit or charity event on our Events Page.  I could bring the KX 94.7 Events Cruiser right to you!

Let’s have some fun in KX Country!
