Glen Campbell Dies At 81

Glen Campbell died yesterday (Aug. 8) at the age of 81 from Alzheimer's disease.  He was born April 22nd, 1936 in Delight, Arkansas.  He was best known for his songs "Gentle on My Mind", "Witchita Lineman", "By the Time I Get to Phoenix" and "Galveston".  Glen also hosted a TV variety show, The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour, from 1968 to 1972.  He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2005.  His last studio album, Adios, was released earlier this year.  Glen had battled Alzheimer's since his diagnosis in June 2011.  He leaves behind his wife Kim and seven children.
