Happy St. Patrick's Day KX Country!!

Posted by Melissa Gordon on 2018/03/16

Happy St. Patrick’s Day Weekend KX Country. I hope you’ve got your green outfits on and are ready to celebrate! Now I’m sure most of you have plans, but if you’re still looking for something to do I can help you out!

My first stop Saturday will be the Hamilton Farmers’ Market at 35 York Street. From 7am until 5pm swing by and get some grocery shopping done. After that I’ll be over at the Hamilton Cat Show at the Ancaster Fairgrounds, where you can meet over 120 cats from 10am until 4pm.

For my last stop of the day I’ll be at the Toronto Sportsmen’s Show at the International Centre in Mississauga. From 10am until 7pm drop by to learn about hunting, fishing, boating, camping and more.

Sunday Morning will start off right where I left off yesterday at the Toronto Sportsmen’s Show at the International Centre in Mississauga. From 10am until 5pm learn all about the great outdoors. After that I’ll be at Westfield Heritage Village in Rockton for their Maple Syrup Festival. From 10am until 4pm see how maple syrup is made and sample it on some fresh pancakes.

For the last stop of my day, find me at the Spring Tide Bulb Show at the Gage Park Greenhouse in Hamilton, where from 9am until 5pm you can explore amazing floral displays. In exchange for admission don’t forget to bring along some non-perishable food items for the local food bank.

Don’t forget that you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!

And as always don’t forget to post your own non-profit or charity event on our Events Page.  I could bring the KX 94.7 Events Cruiser right to you!

Let’s have some fun in KX Country!

~ Mel
