What is Pinterest?
Exactly what I asked when I was first introduced a few weeks ago. Since then, it has become somewhat of an addiction!
In simplest terms, it's a virtual pinboard. It lets you organize and share things you love on the web. People use these pinboards to plan parties or weddings, find recipes, decorate their homes or discover new fashion and beauty items. The best part is you can browse other people's pinboards to discover new things and get inspiration behind things you love and share your interests.
It can be anything and everything from favourite books, jewellery, hair styles, makeup ideas, crafts, places to go, music, handbags, shoes, cars, etc. The possibilities are endless.
What a concept! I have found some fabulous ideas for home decor and recipes I can't wait to try.
It's an opportunity for you to connect with people through things they find interesting. What's even more interesting, you just may discover something about yourself you didn't know.
