Happy Spring! I’m so happy we’ve made it through winter, this means warmer weather and lots of great outdoor events.
My first stop Saturday will be the Sugarbush Maple Syrup event at the Terra Cotta Conservation Area in Halton Hills. Until 5pm stop by with the whole family to see how maple syrup is made and enjoy fresh pancakes covered in syrup. After that catch me at Royal Canadian Air Cadets E-Waste Fundraiser. From 9am until 5pm drop off any old unwanted electronics at the Streetsville Memorial Arena with proceeds supporting the cadets.
My Last stop of the day will be the Around the Bay Race Health and Wellness Expo at the First Ontario Centre in Hamilton. Get tips on running, healthy eating and bring the kids for some free racing.
Sunday Morning will start off at the Dundas Valley Conservation Area for some Hiking and to check out their Discovery Centre. Then it’s off to the Maple Town event at Mountsberg Conservation Area. From 10am until 4pm see how maple syrup is made on the property, explore the farm, birds of prey and stuff your face with some fluffy pancakes.
For my last stop of the weekend find me at the Free Family Skate at the Appleby Ice Centre. From 3pm until 5 stop by for some skating and hot chocolate.
You can stop by these events anytime but if you stop by while I’m there, you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!
And as always don’t forget to post your own non-profit or charity event on our Events Page. I could bring the KX 94.7 Events Cruiser right to you!
Let’s have some fun in KX Country!
