Hey January!!!

Posted by Melissa Gordon on 2019/01/04

I hope everyone had a safe a healthy start to 2019! I’m looking forward to another year of awesome events out in KX Country and it looks like this weekend will be just that.

My first stop of the day is the Community Breakfast in Port Credit at 24 Stavebank Road North. From 8:30am until 11am, swing by to enjoy a delicious breakfast. After that I’ll be heading over to the Burlington Blood Donor Clinic at 1250 Brant Street. From 8am until noon, stop by to donate blood.

Then I’ll be off to the Free Indoor Family Skate in Oakville at Canlan Ice Sports. From 1:15pm until 2:15pm, drop in and skate for free! For my last stop of the day I’ll be hanging out at Bronte Provincial Creek for their Victorian Christmas. From 10am until 4pm both Saturday and Sunday, bring the whole family by for fun displays and activities.

Sunday Morning will start off at the Celebration Square Outdoor Skating Rink in Mississauga! Skate for free from 10am until 10pm with your friends and family. After that I’ll be at the 4th Annual New Years Levee at the Burlington Art Gallery. Bring a couple non-perishable food items and from 1 until 4pm tour the gallery for free.

For my last stop of the weekend I’ll be hanging out at Bayfront Park having a KX Winsticker Drive-Thru.

You can stop by these events anytime but if you stop by while I’m there, you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!

And as always don’t forget to post your own non-profit or charity event on our Events Page.  I could bring the KX 94.7 Events Cruiser right to you!

Let’s have some fun in KX Country!

~ Mel
