Hi July!!

Posted by Melissa Gordon on 2018/07/06

I’m so relieved that the weather has cooled down a little bit as we head into another packed weekend in KX Country!

My first stop Saturday will be the Family Fun Day in Burlington at the Nelson Youth Centre. From 8am until 2pm stop by for a garage sale, raffles, games and more with proceeds supporting Families for Families. After that I’ll be at the Binbrook Farmers Market at the Binbrook Fairgrounds. From 9am until 2pm stop by to grab some fresh local produce.

Then it’s off to the John Burns Memorial Fishing Derby at the Valens Lake Conservation Area, where from 6am until 2pm you can try to catch the biggest fish for a prize. For my last stop of the day I’ll be having a KX Winsticker Drive –Thru at Spencer Smith Park in Burlington.

Sunday Morning will start off at the Goat Sanctuary Open House in Grimsby at 7784 Highway 20. From 11am until 4pm swing by to visit the goats, grab something to eat or check out some great raffles, all in support of the Sanctuary. After that I’ll be at the Classics and Rods Review Show in Mississauga at 5500 Rose Cherry Place. Check out some sweet cars from 9am until 4pm.

For my last stop of the weekend I will be at the Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology for their Golden Horseshoe Live Steamer Day which is going on all day.

You can stop by these events anytime but if you stop by while I’m there, you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!

And as always don’t forget to post your own non-profit or charity event on our Events Page.  I could bring the KX 94.7 Events Cruiser right to you!

Let’s have some fun in KX Country!

~ Mel
