I LOVE Fall!!!!

Posted by Melissa Gordon on 2017/09/30

Who’s ready for some fun Fall events? If you would like to get outside and enjoy some beautiful fall weather during your weekend, I’ve got you covered.

My first stop Saturday will be the Burlington mall Lions Club Farmers Market. From 8am until 2pm stop by the Burlington Mall Parking Lot to pick up some fresh veggies, fruit, eggs, flowers and more. For the second stop of my day I’ll be at the Fall Shred in Milton at 1035 Bronte Street South. From 9am until 3pm for a donation to Halton Crime Stoppers you can drop off your personal documents to be safely shredded and disposed of.

After that you can find me at the Applefest is Stoney Creek at 77 King Street West. Bring the whole family by for some free games, apples, activities and more from 9am until 4pm. For my last stop of the day I’ll be at the Caledonia Fair at the Caledonia Fairgrounds. All weekend stop by for fair rides, games, vendors, food and more.

Sunday Morning will start off at the 4th Annual Thanksgiving Cram-A-Cruiser in Burlington at 2515 Appleby Line. From 12pm until 4pm you can help the Halton Regional Police cram their cruisers full of non-perishable food items for the local food bank. After that I’ll be hanging out at Westfield Heritage Village in Rockton for their Warm Bread event! Until 4pm you can bring the whole family by to explore the village and learn about how bread would’ve been made back in the day.

For the last stop of my day, find me at Pier 8 in Hamilton for a Winsticker Drive-Thru.

you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!

And as always don’t forget to post your own non-profit or charity event on our Events Page.  I could bring the KX 94.7 Events Cruiser right to you!

Let’s have some fun in KX Country!
