I Love Spring!!

Posted by Melissa Gordon on 2018/05/12

Just like that we’re half way through May and I’m loving this sunshine! If you’d like to get out of the house the weekend or maybe you’re looking for something to do with mom for Mother’s Day, check out one of these events!

My first stop Saturday will be the Climb for Cancer over at Tim Horton’s Field in Hamilton. Join our KX Country Climb Team from 9am until10pm r check out some of the other times/ activities to help raise money for the Juravinski Cancer Centre. After that I’ll be at the 4th Annual Bake Sale for Cystic Fibrosis in Burlington at 2251 Pathfinder Drive. From 10am until 1pm stop by to pick up some cookies, tarts and more.

Then it’s off to the Ride for Day Free PSA Clinic at 1174 Service Road West in Oakville, where from 10:30am until 2pm you can stop by for your free PSA test. For my last stop of the day I’ll be at the Save Me Dog Rescue fundraiser/ adopt-at-thon in Hamilton at 9 Richwill Road. From 11am until 4pm stop by to adopt a dog!

Sunday Morning will start off at the Mothers Day Weekend Craft Show at the Ancaster Fairgrounds. From 10am until 4pm shop from over 80 different vendors for mom.  After that I’ll be at the Electronics and Clothing Recycling Event at 306 Parkside Drive in Waterdown. From 9am until 4pm drop off old electronics or gently used clothing.

For my last stop of the weekend I will be at the Dundas Conservation Area for some hiking.

You can stop by these events anytime but if you stop by while I’m there, you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!

And as always don’t forget to post your own non-profit or charity event on our Events Page.  I could bring the KX 94.7 Events Cruiser right to you!

Let’s have some fun in KX Country!
