It's getting chilly!!!

Posted by Melissa Gordon on 2017/11/10

Looks like Winter is on it’s way with the snow that some of us experienced throughout KX Country. Don’t worry most of the events are indoors this weekend so you can stay warm! Remembrance Day also takes place this weekend, with that being said make sure you stop by a one of the many Remembrance Day Ceremonies.

My first stop Saturday will be the Craftadian Market at 151 Lakeshore Road West in Mississauga! From 10 am until 4pm shop from over 40 different vendors while supporting Crafts 4 Kids. Then I’ll be off to the Mistletoe Mart in Burlington at 3132 South Drive. From 9am until 3pm get some shopping done, grab lunch or a sweet treat with proceeds supporting church programs.

After that find me at the Ancaster Fairgrounds for the Massive Indoor Garage Sale. From 8am until 2pm find some awesome items for even better prices with a portion of the proceeds supporting educational events. For my last stop of the day I’ll be at the Remembrance Day Celebration at Ruthevan Park in Cayuga, join me anywhere from 1-4pm.

Sunday Morning will start off at the Christmas Marketplace in Stoney Creek ay 63 Highway 20 East. Swing by to check some people off of your shopping list or grab a bite to eat. After that I’ll be hanging out at Westfield Heritage Village in Rockton to get some fresh air… they’re open until 4pm.

For the last stop of my day, find me at the Dundas Valley Orchestra Fall Fair at 29 Park Street West. From 3pm until 5pm enjoy live music, raffles and some snacks.

Don’t forget that you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!

And as always don’t forget to post your own non-profit or charity event on our Events Page.  I could bring the KX 94.7 Events Cruiser right to you!

Let’s have some fun in KX Country!
