Slow down August!!

Posted by Melissa Gordon on 2018/08/10

August is flying by, can you believe that we’re already at the halfway point?! This weekend looks like it’s going to be a beauty, be sure to get outside and check out some of the events happening in KX Country.

My first stop Saturday will be the Equestrian Campout at the Dundas Valley Conservation Area! The park will be full of riders for the whole weekend checking out some trails and enjoying some activities. You can stop by to meet the horses and see what else the Conservation Area has to offer. After that I’ll be at the Hamilton Ribfest at Gage Park, where until 11pm you can swing by to enjoy some ribs or check out some vendors.

For the rest of my day I’ll be heading out to Toronto to Greek Town for the Taste of the Danforth! For the whole weekend drop by to enjoy lots of Greek food, explore the vendors and enjoy some live entertainment.

Sunday Morning will start off at the Ride for Sick Kids in Oakville at 191 Wyecroft Road! Hundreds of riders will be making their way through the street of Halton at 11am with proceeds supporting Sick Kids.  After that I’ll be at the Mississauga Lions Club Farmers Market at 3 Robert Speak Parkway where from 8am until 3pm you can grab some fresh veggies, fruit, eggs, flowers and more

For my last stop of the weekend I will be having a KX Winsticker Drive-Thru at Memorial Park in Waterdown.

You can stop by these events anytime but if you stop by while I’m there, you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!

And as always don’t forget to post your own non-profit or charity event on our Events Page.  I could bring the KX 94.7 Events Cruiser right to you!

Let’s have some fun in KX Country!
