Spring has FINALLY Sprung!!

Posted by Melissa Gordon on 2018/04/20

Seems like Spring has finally sprung in KX Country and after that terrible ice storm we deserve some sun shine! I have some great outdoor events set for the weekend ahead if you’re looking for something to do.

My first stop Saturday will be the Woven Basket event at the Erland Lee Museum in Stoney Creek. From 9am until noon stop by to weave a basket and check out the museum. After that I’ll be at the Burloak Stamp Fair at 2285 New Street in Burlington. From 9am until 1pm see come collections and trade some stamps.

Then it’s off to the Purolator Tackle Hunger Food Drive also in Burlington at Frank Hayden High School. From 10am until 5pm swing by to donate non-perishable food items for local food banks. For my last stop of the day I’ll be having a KX Winsticker Drive –Thru at City View Park in Burlington.

Sunday Morning will start off at the Dundas Valley Conservation Area for some Spring hiking! After that I’ll be at the Lakeview Building in Hamilton for the Beach Clean-up for Earth Day. From 1pm until 3pm bring by some friends and family to help clean up the beach.

For my last stop of the weekend I will be at the Burlington Lifestyle Show at Mainway Arena. From 11am until 5pm you can stop by and shop from some local vendors.

You can stop by these events anytime but if you stop by while I’m there, you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!

And as always don’t forget to post your own non-profit or charity event on our Events Page.  I could bring the KX 94.7 Events Cruiser right to you!

Let’s have some fun in KX Country!
