Steamy Sunday!

Posted by Melissa Gordon on 2018/07/13

If you need something to do this weekend, I can help you out! There’s lots going on in KX Country, but make sure you pack lots of sunscreen and water as it’s going to be a hot one.

My first stop Saturday will be the Burlington Mall Farmers’ Market. From 8am until 2pm get some shopping done with a portion of the proceeds supporting the Lions Club. After that I’ll be at the Rotary Brunch at the Waterdown Legion in support for Food 4 Kids. From 10am until 1pm, stop by and make a donation o enjoy a delicious brunch.

Then it’s off to the Ottawa Street Community Day in Hamilton. From 10am until 2pm shop the local stores located on Ottawa Street or grab a bite to eat from a food truck. For my last stop of the day I’ll be at 2515 Appleby Line in Burlington at Fortinos for the Halton Crime Stoppers Bag and Brag event. From 10am until 4pm local for a volunteer to bag your groceries to help support crime stoppers.

Sunday Morning will start off at the Mississauga Lions Club Farmers Market at 3 Robert Speak Parkway where from 8am until 3pm you can grab some fresh veggies, fruit, eggs, flowers and more! After that I’ll be at the Ireland House Museum in Burlington to check out a tour.

For my last stop of the weekend I will be at Westfield Heritage Village in Rockton for their Summer Sundays!

You can stop by these events anytime but if you stop by while I’m there, you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!

And as always don’t forget to post your own non-profit or charity event on our Events Page.  I could bring the KX 94.7 Events Cruiser right to you!

Let’s have some fun in KX Country!
