Love finding new music out in the sticks. This week I have been listening to up and comer Chase Rice! Chase's journey to the stage would take some turns, a lot of left ones! After graduating from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, Chase found himself on the celebrated Hendrick Motorsports pit crew. While NASCAR served as his day job, he spent his nights writing and playing small bars around the Charlotte area.
Now you may recognize Chase as the runner-up on Survivor: Nicaragua. Being on the hit reality show spring boarded Chase to Music city where he was able to release the EP "Country as Me" last year. He just recently released his first full length album "Dirt Road Communion" It has a great country/rock mix, which I love. One of my favourite tunes from Dirt Road Communion is a track called "Only a Country Girl"
