Motorcycle Ride for Dad

Join the Fight Against Prostate Cancer at the 2012 Motorcycle Ride For Dad, Golden Horseshoe (Hamilton) chapter. The ride will take place on Saturday, June 16th and leaves from Valley Park Community Centre in Stoney Creek. The Motorcycle Ride for Dad began in Ottawa in 2000 as a single city event to raise money for prostate cancer research and awareness. Two volunteers and 80 riders were involved in that first event raising almost $20,000 for prostate cancer research.

Since then, the Ride has expanded to 30 cities across Canada with events in every province and territory and has donated more than $9 million to its cause. Three hundred dedicated volunteers now serve on Executive Committees along with several thousand short-term volunteers making the Motorcycle Ride For Dad Canada's largest annual motorcycle event!
