Festival Highlights:

Cultural Demonstrations – Experience the precision and power of martial arts including Kendo, Karate, Aikido, Iaido, Judo, Jiu Jitsu, Tai Chi and more.

Special guest apprearance by Sumo Canada! workshops, demos and more.

Live Music – Enjoy performances by talented local musicians, including the unique sounds of Do Kon Daiko at 12:15, VersaCello at 2 pm and Bruce Tatemichi Jazz at 3 pm.

Crafts and Displays – Explore handmade items and creative work by community artisans.

Delicious Food – Savour a variety of Japanese festival foods and treats. Vendors include Ginko Japanese Restaurant, Mystic Ramen, Fisherman’s Plaice fresh onigiri and Spring Sushi.

Interactive Activities – Participate in Japanese Bon Odori at 1 pm, Suika Wari and other cultural experiences. Special Fun Zone for everyone with games, prizes, face painting and more.
