Happy Family Day Weekend!!
If you’re looking for something to do with the whole family or some of your friends, then check out one of theses great events.My first stop of the day is the Book Exchange and Café at 170 Dundurn Street South in Hamilton. From 10am until 2pm, swing by to grab a few books or a bite to eat with proceeds supporting the Stephen Lewis Foundation. After that I’ll be at the Blood Donor Clinic in Burlington located at 1250 Brant Street East. With the long weekend here blood is needed more than ever, so please stop by and donate from 8am until noon.
Then I’ll be off to the Winter Market at Terra Greenhouses in Milton. From 10am until 3pm, stop by and get some shopping done from a great selection of local vendors while staying warm inside! For my last stop of the day I’ll be hanging out at the Family Day Weekend Event over at the Mountsberg Conservation Area in Campbellville. You can stop by from 10am until 4pm to catch a birds of prey demonstration, roast some marshmallows or go for a hike.
Sunday Morning will start off at the Annual Family Day Cram-A-Cruiser at Fortinos on Appleby Line and Highway 5 in Burlington! From noon until 4pm drop of some non-perishable food items to the Halton Regional Police for the local food bank. After that I’ll be at the Hamilton Cat Show over at the Ancaster Fairgrounds. From 10am until 4pm drop in to watch a few cat shows or pick up some toys for your cat at home.
Then I’ll be hanging out at the Dundas Valley Conservation Area checking out some of their amazing hiking trails!
For my first stop for Family Day Monday I’ll be at the Ireland House Museum in Burlington for their Open House! From 1 until 4pm, bring the whole family by to sample some cookies or tour the museum. After that I’ll be at the Dundas Museum and Archives checking out their Inside/Outside Family Day Event. From noon until 4pm stop by to explore the museum and afterwards enjoy a few outdoor activities as well.
For the last stop of the weekend I’ll be having a KX Winsticker Drive-Thru over at Memorial Park in Waterdown.
You can stop by these events anytime but if you stop by while I’m there, you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!
