Well it looks like it’s going to be a busy first weekend of March!
If you’re looking for something to do, swing by one of these events
My first stop of the day is the Hamilton Farmers’ Market at 35 York Blvd. From 7am until 5pm, swing by to grab a bite to eat and get some grocery shopping done. After that I’ll be at the 3rd Annual Yogathon at 312 Dundas Street East in Flamborough. From 9am until 2:30, grab tour yoga mat and head on over for a yoga class in support of the Bruce Trail Conservancy.
Then I’ll be off to the Ancaster Food Drive at the Ancaster Fairgrounds. From 8am until 3:30pm you can stop by to donate as volunteers short thousands of food items to support some local food banks. For my last stop of the day I’ll be hanging out at the Friends of the Aviary in Hamilton at 85 Oak Knoll Drive, where you can visit all the birds at the rescue from 1-4pm.
Sunday Morning will start off at the Deluxe Pancake Breakfast at 308 Highway 8 in Stoney Creek. You can enjoy a delicious breakfast from 9am until 1pm with proceeds supporting the Church. After that I’ll be at the Maple Syrup Festival at Westfield Heritage Park in Rockton. From 10am until 4pm, bring your family and friends out to learn how maple syrup is made, sample some fresh maple syrup or enjoy a pancake breakfast.
For the last stop of the weekend I’ll be having a KX Winsticker Drive-Thru over at the Christie Lake Conservation Area.
You can stop by these events anytime but if you stop by while I’m there, you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!
And as always don’t forget to post your own non-profit or charity event on our Events Page. I could bring the KX 94.7 Events Cruiser right to you!
Let’s have some fun in KX Country!
