This weekend is going to be a busy one in KX Country, with quite a few festivals going on including Burlington’s Sound of Music!
My first stop Saturday will be the Niagara Ride for Dad starting at the Niagara Region Police Foundation. Toff from our KX Morning Ride will be there and I’ll be meeting all the riders at the halfway point to chat about the ride! After that I’ll be at the Stuff the Bus Event at Sobey's located just off of Stone Church Road and the Upper Red Hill Parkway! Look for the big yellow school bus and drop off some non-perishable food items for the N2N food bank from 9am until 4pm.
For my last stop of the day I’ll be hanging out at the Sound of Music at Spencer Smith Park in Burlington as it’ll be Country Day! You’ll be able to see Eric Ethridge, Madeline Merlo and Headliner Terri Clark.
Sunday Morning will start off at the 5th Annual Father’s Day Food Truck Festival at Springridge Farm in Milton. From 11am until 3pm, bring dad by to pick up a bite to eat from a huge selection of local food trucks! After that I’ll be at Westfield Heritage Village in Rockton for their Father’s Day Picnic. From noon until 4pm, pack a picnic for dad and afterwards explore the village.
For my last stop of the weekend, I’ll be hanging out at the Christie Lake Conservation Area to check out some of their trails.
You can stop by these events anytime but if you stop by while I’m there, you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!
And as always don’t forget to post your own non-profit or charity event on our Events Page. I could bring the KX 94.7 Events Cruiser right to you!
Let’s have some fun in KX Country!
