90's country singer Hal Ketchum is living with Alzheimers and dementia.
His wife Andrea says that the family decided to share his diagnosis because fans have been wondering why he has no future scheduled tour dates."Dementia is an exhausting and confusing illness, and now it's time for Hal to stay home with loved ones," Andrea says. "Hal is otherwise healthy and happy, enjoying time with his family and friends." Hal, who turned 66 on April 9, released his debut album, Past the Point of Rescue in 1991. The title track and "Small Town Saturday Night" both hit number 2 on the country charts.
