Dwight Yoakam needed medical help during his set at Railbird Festival in Kentucky last weekend. According to the Lexington Herald Leader, Dwight left the stage shortly after his performance started. He returned a few minutes later, telling fans he thought he was going to pass out. Two songs later, Dwight left for good. An update on social media blamed the heat and humidity. The Lexington Herald Leader seemed to argue the heat and humidity excuse, saying that the weather that day was unseasonably cool with rain and drizzle. Dwight thanked his fans for singing along to help carry him to the end of his set. He also thanked the Railbird staff and EMT's for "the quick response and the all clear."
