It all started as a bet between Eric Church and his road crew during a recent tour stop.

They said he wouldn't be able to take off his sunglasses and walk around his own show without being recognized. So before his show in Grand Rapids on Friday, Eric took off his Ray-Bans and took a walk around the concourse. He even tried to draw attention to himself by greeting people as he walked by them. He was wearing his own merch, including a t-shirt with his face on it. That still wasn't enough for his fans to identify him. By the end of the video, only one person had recognized Eric.
