George Strait broke a record for the largest ticketed concert in United States history. The record was set in 1977 by the Grateful Dead when they performed in front of 107,019 people at Raceway Park in New Jersey. George smashed the record on June 15 when 110,905 people filled the Texas A&M University football stadium to catch his show. Parker McCollum and Katie Offerman opened for George. It was an extra special day for Parker who also celebrated his birthday backstage with his wife Hallie Ray, family, crew and friends.
