Jake Worthington is taking a break from his music career to focus on his health and family.

He shared on Instagram that he's taking a step back and promised to "come back even better" once he's spent some time focusing on his healing. Jake says that hard living was taking a toll on him. "I live a life as my heroes did, but that life got ahold of me," he shared. "I love my family, my friends and my fans too much to let it take over me. I need to some time to work on myself for my wife and daughter." Jake didn't mention cancelling any previously-booked show in his post.
