On March 13th, 1999, Trisha Yearwood was the 183rd person to be inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, that night by Porter Wagoner. Later the same night she was presented with a silver necklace from Patsy Cline, whom she had admired for a long time. 

On March 13th, 2024, Trisha Yearwood returned to the Grand Ole Opry to celebrate with friends,  Terri Clark, Pam Tillis and Suzy Bogguss. They celebrated with a performance and cake with Trisha saying "To be a member you have to understand what came before you and to also have a love and appreciation of what came before you."
