Kenny Chesney's new album, Silver Sands Marina, features a track inspired by the show Ted Lasso.

"Goldfish" was written by Tenille Townes, who was going through some heartbreak when she happened to be watching Ted Lasso.

If you've watched the show, you'll remember one of Ted's most famous pieces of advice is "be a goldfish." The idea is that goldfish have incredibly short memories, so they don't sit around thinking about their mistakes or what just happened. They just move on.

That idea hit Tenille at just the right time and the song was born.

Kenny's next album, Silver Sands Marina, is scheduled for release September 25 and also includes collaborations with Megan Moroney and Colbie Caillat.
