Lauren Alaina announced her surprise engagement Saturday night at the Grand Ole Opry. She said she wanted to share her big news at one of her favourite places. Lauren is engaged to Cameron Scott Arnold, who she has been quietly dating. She was previously engaged to her high school boyfriend, Alex Hopkins. They called off that engagement in 2019. No details about the upcoming wedding were shared.

Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood and Zac Brown Band are all scheduled to perform throughout the 2023 Hy-Vee IndyCar Race Weekend at Iowa Speedway. The race will take place July 21-23, with performances scheduled before and after the races on July 22 and July 23. Carrie will perform at the pre-race show on Saturday, with Kenny wrapping up after the checkered flag waves. Zac Brown Band will play the pre-race festivities on Sunday.

Jordan Davis will be releasing his second full-length album, Bluebird Days, on February 17th. A full track list for the album is not available yet, but the project will include his award-winning song with Luke Bryan "Buy Dirt," "What My World Spins Around" and "Midnight Crisis," a collaboration with Danielle Bradbery. This is his first full-length album since Home State was released in 2018. He has released two EP's in the five years between albums.

The CMA Country Christmas will air December 8th starting at 9pm on ABC. Look for performances from Carly Pearce, Dan + Shay, Scotty McCreery, Maren Morris, Old Dominion, The War and Treaty and more.

New Year's Eve Live: Nashville's Big Bash is back this year on CBS and they have revealed the hosts for the night. Jimmie Allen, Elle King and Entertainment Tonight's Rachel Smith have all signed on to host the night. Jimmie, who performed on last year's show, is already "looking forward" to the night. Previously announced performers include Brooks & Dunn, Kelsea Ballerini, Little Big Town and Zac Brown Band, with more artists being announced soon.

The nominees at the Grammy Awards were announced yesterday. Miranda Lambert leads in the country categories with four nominations. The show will air live February 5th on CBS. Dierks Bentley will be competing in a celebrity pickleball tournament airing tomorrow on CBS. He started playing the game backstage to pass the time. "We started playing pickleball on the road, I guess, this year like a lot of other people did, as well," Dierks explains. "We would just put some masking tape, duct tape, down on the parking lot behind the busses and start playing and got into it. Definitely it's been a fun thing to do out there on the road." Jimmie Allen will also be competing in the tournament.

Congratulations to Niko Moon and his wife, Anna, on the birth of their first child. They welcomed baby girl Lily Anne Moon on November 15th. They made the announcement in a post on social media that showed Niko holding his new daughter. The couple have not shared any other details yet.
